Home Front

I posted a few pictures to show the inside of our house. Quite a few people have asked me to do this. I will take some of other views and post soon too. The second set of pictures is from Sunday afternoon. We had a rare sunny day and spent most of it outside biking and at the farm/park. The weather has been cold and damp for at least a month. Coincidently most of us have had the sniffles for at least that long. It rains almost everyday for at least a little bit so things barely have a chance to dry out. Luckily it rarely rains all day so the day is never a complete wash.

  • Lyn,
With all the difficulties you having over there (i.e. cooking, logistics, etc.) I look at your pictures and can't help but think that coming home (by that I mean Belmont) will be even harder. You guys look like you are having so much fun and really taking advantage of being over there. It also looks like Megan and Alyssa are really coming out of their shells. Maybe they are ex-pats at heart! Keep travelling! And keep posting those pics so the rest of us can drool at home.

P.S. I travelled up the Mosel once and I think I have some pictures of myself in the same town you guys went to (of course they all look alike with that brown and white architecture). The frightening part is that I was 20 years old then and at this point Hannah is closer to 20 than I am. Yikes!
