Rome - Inside the Vatican museums are beautifully decorated palace rooms. No pictures were allowed in the Sistine Chapel, sorry:) The museums have a huge collection of antiquities. In the book Angels and Demons the prequel (sort of) to the DaVinci code it states that one of the Popes hacked off all the naked statues penises because he found them obscene. As we walked through the museum we didn't see one complete naked statue. Although throughout the rest of Rome there were plenty of examples which initiated numerous entertaining discussions with our three kids.
